Media Production Assistant
The Media Production Assistant supports our marketing efforts by capturing, editing, and helping distribute engaging digital content. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about visual storytelling through photography and videography, and enjoys crafting content that connects with audiences on social media.
Overview
Title: Media Production Assistant
Employment Type: Part-time (20-25 hours weekly)
Reports To: Marketing Manager
Pay: $15/hour
Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content during events and activities
- Edit and organize media for use in digital campaigns, email newsletters, and website content
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.)
- Assist in the creation of visual and written marketing content (flyers, reels, graphics, blog posts)
- Track social media and content performance to improve future campaigns
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated photography and videography skills, including post-production (Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, CapCut, etc)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to take initiative and contribute creative ideas
- Brings a positive, approachable presence and feels comfortable engaging with others during content creation
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
