Your place or ours? We can bring our events and people to your office, conference center, hotel, sporting arena, entertainment venue, or any location of your choosing. Just give us the “where,” and we’ll be there.
Pick Your Play
Group Dynamix has a large variety of exciting, adult-friendly activities that make up our “Pick Your Play” event. The spectrum ranges from our state-of-the-art ropes course to playground sports, lawn games to table top games, inflatables to climbing trees, zip lines to racing trikes, Archery Tag to our 22-player foosball table, and much more. Your group can customize your event by choosing which activities you want to do, the number of which is only limited by the amount of time you have to spend. This fun event can be structured as a friendly competition with teams rotating through the activities collecting points along the way or organized as a ”group mixer” event where people can decide to be participants or spectators on a given activity. Group Dynamix is the place for your class reunion, family reunion, bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, birthday party, graduation party, retirement party, or any other reason to celebrate. No need to wait for the winter or summer games to be held. If you are game, your group can experience the thrill of victory by participating in “Team Olympix” at Group Dynamix or the location of your choosing. Our most popular outing, Team Olympix is a great example of what friendly but spirited competition can do to help teams focus and collaborate. Teams choose names and cheers, then go for the gold where the primary objective is having fun and creating memories. Let the games begin!
Our Island Rescue event will inspire your group to triumph over obstacles and personal limitations. Inspired by the television show "Survivor," which selects the ultimate survivor through a process of elimination, survival games at Group Dynamix are retooled so that no one gets voted off the island. While playing games like vanquishing a field of snakes, riding out an earthquake, or escaping a sinking island, your team or tribe is really working on skills that foster problem-solving, perseverance, and collaboration. Multiple “tribes” are encouraged to work together to overcome obstacles, making this a great event for groups that need each other to succeed.
Table Top Challenge
An outing chocked full of zany, amped-up activities that has the added benefit of promoting teamwork? That’s our ever popular “Table Top Challenge" event. Relay races, tabletop games and unusual challenges using ordinary household and play items are played by teams to focus on collaboration and camaraderie. This event is easily modified to be played in any setting – at Group Dynamix or some other location of your choosing. If you are ready for an entertaining form of team building, Table Top Challenge is “diversion with a purpose!”
Inspired by the TV show “The Amazing Race,” our Amazing Journey is an exciting scavenger hunt that challenges teams to earn clues through fun teamwork games or by interacting with interesting objects or places. Navigating from site to site, there is an exhilarating race to the finish line as teams complete their journey. More collaborative than competitive, the real reward of this event is the fun everyone will have boosting morale and building camaraderie. This is a great corporate outing for those looking for a new approach to strengthening teamwork.
The Amazing Journey event is perfectly suited for ranches, hotels, shopping malls, amusement parks and conference centers and can be customized to almost any location you choose.
Mini Golf Build
Channel your inner Arnold Palmer or Nancy Lopez while designing and constructing a putt-putt course holes made from different items that you collect through a series of entertaining teamwork games. After holes are completed and combined into a golf course, it’s time to tee off and play all of the holes that were built. It’s a great way for your corporate teams to have fun together and build camaraderie.
During your tour of the “GDX Nuclear Power Plant,” a malfunction in the coolant system sets off the alarm for an imminent core meltdown. The only way to escape from this catastrophe is to work together to find clues and solve problems that will repair the coolant system in a nail-biting race against time. What makes the Meltdown different from other escape rooms is the importance of teamwork. With each step, teams must engage in cooperation, communication, and conquer challenges as a group. This is an event that is both extraordinarily fun and extremely collaborative.
Playground Sports Tournament
Let the games begin! Group Dynamix will design and officiate at your next sports tournament event, whether it’s human foosball, flag football, kickball, dodgeball, or some other high-fun, low-impact sport or play activity. Your “friendly” competition can be held at Group Dynamix or any venue of your choosing. Have fun, build camaraderie, and make memories for your corporate group or organization.
Family Fun Day
Looking for a way to spend some fun quality time with your larger corporate family? Group Dynamix announces its new “Family Fun Day,” an event that includes the whole family, even the kids from toddlers to teens. More than just a family outing, our trademark Group Dynamix activities, led by enthusiastic facilitators, are designed to get everyone playing. Choose our location or bring us to your site. Family Fun Day is the perfect way to make family memories for holidays, founders’ days, company mergers, or any special event.
The most common obstacle to effective teamwork is poor communication. To help teams become more effective and productive, Group Dynamix has designed the Communication Lab event to engage participants in an interactive process of experimentation, testing, observing, and sharing. This “learning through discovery” process enables teams to identify their weakness and devise plans for improvement in communication. Integral to this discovery process is an awareness of how your team members are wired. We recommend a DiSC® assessment which identifies the way people are motivated based on individual styles and behaviors.
Just as students learn more by experimenting in the laboratory than by just listening to lectures, so teams can learn about effective teamwork by actually experiencing the activities that build collaboration, trust, leadership, and initiative. Skilled facilitators introduce an interactive process of “action learning” activities designed to let participants experience the elements of teamwork firsthand and have fun at the same time. Time is scheduled for members to share their reactions and explore ways to apply their discoveries to improving their teamwork in the workplace.
Bikes for Kids
Experience the joy of giving bikes to disadvantaged children while honing your team-building skills. Teams compete for winning points in a wide range of fun and interactive challenges to redeem for the parts and tools to build the bikes. Finished bikes are donated to children at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas or the Community Partners of Dallas. However, arrangements can be made to deliver bikes to the charity/organization of a group’s choosing.
Support the Troops
What better way to thank our soldiers stationed all over the world than providing them with some of the comforts of home? Your teams will compete in scavenger hunts for personal items which will be used to fill care packages. Show your appreciation for the service of our men and women in uniform while reaping the benefits of teamwork. After your “Support the Troops” event, your care packages will be donated to the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas for delivery overseas.
