Job Summary: Group Dynamix is looking for a part-time Overnight Lock-In Event Leader who is passionate about creating memorable and meaningful experiences for student groups. As the leader, you’ll coordinate and oversee all aspects of 3-12 hour overnight lock-in events, ensuring participants’ safe, enjoyable, and memorable experiences. We’re seeking an individual with the energy and endurance to manage a diverse group of participants and a solid commitment to maintaining a secure and fun environment throughout the event.
Requirements
- Desire to serve others.
- Fun-loving, outgoing, creative, and enthusiastic.
- Camp and ropes course experience preferred but not required.
- Punctual, responsible, self-managed, and professional.
- Team player, cooperative, and collaborative.
- Must have transportation.
Responsibilities
- Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate all activities and logistics for overnight lock-in events.
- Develop a schedule of activities, ensuring a balance of entertainment, team-building, and rest periods.
- Engage:
- Interact with participants to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Facilitate team-building activities, games, and discussions to encourage social interaction.
- Secure:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols throughout the event.
- Be vigilant and proactive in addressing any potential security concerns.
- Communicate:
- Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and volunteers.
- Provide clear instructions and information about the schedule, rules, and emergency procedures.
- Problem Solve:
- Address and resolve any conflicts or issues during the event.
- Work collaboratively with staff to find creative solutions to challenges.
